Dr. Abhijit Ghorpade, the Chairman and Managing Director of 'Greenfield Agrichem Industries Pvt. Ltd.' is a highly motivated and dynamic personality. After completion of B.Sc. (agri) form Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, and M.B.A. in Marketing & International Business from Mumbai University he joined in a multi-national company and gained valuable knowledge and exprience in the field of marketing of the fertilizers. He was having a good package in the said company. However, he was deeply hurt by the suicides of hundreds of farmers in Maharashtra and was highly concerned for them and wanted to do some remarkable work for their betterment so that they can get maximum crop yield that too in reasonable expenses. As someone has rightly said that, 'Indian farmers become rich only next year', and he wanted to change this scenario anyhow. Accordingly, he tried to find out the reasons behind the poor condition of the farmers. And he realized that most of the farmers have very small pieces of land in their possession due to population explosion after independenc. Moreover, the rates of the Organic, Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides etc. are very high though its use is beneficial for increase in crop yield. Being the son of a farmer and soil of Maharashtra, he minutely observed and analyzed each and every aspect of various problems faced by farmers in their daily life. And he realized that if he could establish the manufacturing factory of fertilizers in rural area and manufacture the quality products through that factory, then he could surely be abled to provide the quality fertilizers in very reasonable rates to the farmers. And Accordingly, Dr. Abhijit Ghorpade has established the 'Greenfield Agrichem Industries Pvt. Ltd.' (GAIPL) in 2014 and started to Manufacture and Market the Pesticides, Water-Soluble Fertilizers, Chemical Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients, Granulated NPK Mix Fertilizers etc. The fertilizers of GAIPL being of top quality have been getting extraordinary response from lakhs of farmers all over in India. And in this way the GAIPL has been doing fantastic job in its specific goal to serve the farmers in this country with utmost integrity and reliable services since its inception.

The Greenfield Agrichem Industries Pvt. Ltd. has recently started its new invention naming as "Greenfield Krushi Mall", and started its franchisees all over in Maharashtra, so that the farmers will get Pesticides, Water-Soluble Fertilizers, Chemical Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients, Granulated NPK Mix Fertilizers, Seeds etc. all the fertilizers and other necessary equipment required for the field of top quality and that too in very reasonable rates and in nearby areas under one roof.
The GAIPL is having a specific and ultimate aim of serving the farmers at its best and uplift their overall life including economic growth. Accordingly, to fulfill its moto of serving to the farmers, it has decided to establish the franchisees of "Greenfield Krushi Malls" all over in Maharashtra. The said franchisees would run on the basis of Company Owned - Company Operated (co-co) for the farmers only. The Senior Managment of GAIPL has also decided to offer the jobs available in the company and in krushi malls to the children of farmers only who have done their B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Agriculture.
